M2M
The M2M business (Machine To Machine) is the next big technological breakthrough to come. The aim of this technology is to give objects from our everyday’s life the possibility to go online, and to communicate with other objects. The most widespread form factor is QFN components. They are designed for either contact or contactless applications (some of them are even used for combi applications), and the main difference with the production of normal smartcards, is the shape of the components, and the difficulty to handle them.
