User Interface
The MP300 TCL2 is supplied with the MPManager software. The aim of this software, is to allow the user to access the power of the tester without any programming knowledge.
First, the MPManager software allows you to define the physical conditions that will be used for the communication session with the smartcard.
Then, MPManager allows you to define the exchanges that will happen. A multitude of commands are available, which have been thought to cover all of the customer needs.
Once this script is built, it is possible to run it step by step, in continuous mode, or even specify how many times it is needed to run it.
For NFC objects testing, MPManager opens you all possibilities that are defined by the NFC-IP1 and –IP2 specifications ;
Just by clicking a button, it is possible to launch the spy of the exchanges between the MP300 TCL2 and the smartcard.
This will give an exact display of the frames that have been exchanged, as well as protocol analysis. A tree and a graphical representation of the data is available. Among the graphical representation are the characters, sequences, modulations, presence of the field, phase changes...
For NFC compliant exchanges, the interpretation of the exchanges can be done according to the NFC specifications.
A higher level viewer is also available. This uses Micropross business oriented interpreters, in order to give a better understanding of the exchanges.
MPManager can also perform with the MP300 TCL2 some physical measurement.
To qualify the assembly micromodule + antenna inside the smartcard, the resonance frequency + Q factor measurement is very handy.
- Different sizes of antennas
- Different sizes of cables
- Test benches, to perform RF testing
- The software key to unlock the NFC passive target emulation and smartcard simulation modes

Micropross also introduces to the market a revolutionnary piece of hardware, that will change the life of engineers who are performing analog tests of PCD, and PICC : the automated reference PICC
To perform PCD (reader) tests, you need to use a Reference PICC as described in the different test standards.
Depending on the test cases, you have to tune different parameters on the Reference PICC:
And, in addition to these settings you may need additional tools or features to perform the test:
With the Micropross Reference PICC automated antenna, you don’t need to do the different settings manually or to use additional tools. On this antenna, all the settings are automated:
And in addition, there are:
Behind, each of these features, you have low level API (choice of the resonance frequency value…) as well as higher level API corresponding to the different test cases (the antenna is calibrated to be used for each test case).
For example, if you want to check if your reader generates at least Hmin (operating volume characterization), the higher level API will set the resonance frequency to 13.56MHz, the variable load and the value of the variable load. Then you just have to use the API for the voltmeter to perform this test.
Micropross Automated Reference PICC is the ultimate response when it comes to automated performance of contactless reader testing (PCD testing). Gain in productivity and test accuracy is immediate, as this piece of hardware does all the hard work for you!
This antenna can be controlled by your own personal test software, or directly from Micropross automated test suite, like ISO 10373-6;2011 PCD and PICC, or ISO 22536 (NFC-IP1 analog). it is available for testing of several ISO 10373-6:2011 classes (Class 1 to 6 models are available).

We also supply packages to extend the warranty of the tester. Please ask us for the maintenance contracts available.
